sorry for only using this one as an example, there are a lot worse. Giving away a laptop to get followers.. I don’t see the logic in that even if you don’t end up giving it away.. You’ve just lied to everyone to gain followers. It’s pretty ridiculous.

I once followed someone because they were “giving away” a cannon DSLR. I noticed that a new giveaway was posted roughly every month, yet I never saw a winner announced. I asked them about choosing a winner, and they tried to play it off as though they forgot and were choosing soon. Basically these people assume that you’re just going to follow them and forget that you followed for a giveaway because no one truly expects to win anyway.
Why do followers matter that much to people?
I’m sorry, but no one is giving this shit away. It’s just a scam to get followers.
